Classes are held at Shannondale Community Center's Timber Lodge, a United Church
of Christ facility located 24 miles south of Salem, Missouri on Highway 19.
Students at the 2009 Workshop were able to choose from more than three dozen crafts.
While adults enjoy craft classes, children are occupied with age appropriate programs.
Besides taking classes, teenagers particularly enjoy our afternoon activities.
Classes are offered Monday through Friday mornings and some afternoons. Afternoons
are for relaxing, swimming, working on class projects, taking part in planned tours,
float trips on the Current River, shopping at Wobus Memorial Craft Center, demonstrations,
or simply enjoying the Ozark setting. Scheduled evening entertainment includes live music,
dancing, the annual Art Auction, and a talent show. Enjoy demonstrations such as herding
by border collies, music, and guided nature hikes. A daily schedule is posted listing extra
